How to Convert and Transfer DVDs to iPad Pro/Air/Mini

Posted by Paula Lin in DVD Ripping Tips | Last Updated:

The iPad is a good device for watching movies at home or on the go. It's large enough to see the screen clearly, but small enough to hold comfortably. And the 13-inch iPad Pro with OLED screen is considered one of the best tablets for watching movies. Therefore, many users want to copy their DVD movies to iPad Pro for playback. However, you cannot play DVD discs directly on iPad since all iPad models have no built-in drivers for recognizing the DVD drive or DVD player.

Then, what if we want to play DVD movies on iPad Pro, iPad Air or iPad Mini? It's easy if your DVDs come with digital copies since you can redeem a digital copy on an iPad. Or you can purchase a digital copy from Amazon, Netflix, and the like. However, it's not cost-efficient to pay extra money on the movies you've owned. The practical method is to convert your DVD to iPad supported format and put the movies on your tablet.
